We all know how uncomfortable it cant get when you are taking a flight on your vacation or for your business trip. But luckily some companies help use with useful gadgets to avoid as many problems on our travels as possible. Here are 5 must-have Gadgets when you want to be sure to have a comfortable flight for your next trip.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”30px”][vc_column_text]
Noise-cancelling Headphone
I’m pretty sure, almost everyone had this situation where you were in line to boarding to your flight. And there are a lot of small children or even babies and you know that they will not be quiet for the whole flight. And in this situation, noise-canceling headphones can be your lifesaver even if there are children on the plane. Otherwise, the only thing you can hope for is, that they are sitting far away from you.
My favorite travel Headphones are the Sony Wh100 IV. They are not the newest version, but they are foldable and compact and the sound is also very good.
Travel (neck) pillow
A travel pillow can increase your flight quality a lot. I can recommend especially neck pillows for long-distance flights. You can lay back so much more comfortably and the biggest advantage you will recognize when you get out of the plane and your neck doesn’t hurt as it would without a neck pillow. There are a lot of different pillows and most of them do what they should do. If you need to buy a Travel Pillow I can recommend you the Neck Pillow from Amazon Basics. It is cheap and it does the job.
Compression socks
This is something I didn’t think about for a long time, but when I decided to buy compression socks it was such a game changer for my flights. For those of you who don’t know what the purpose of compression socks is, I will explain it to you because not long ago I didn’t even know about it myself.
Why wear compression socks
Swollen legs and feet after a long flight are unpleasant, but not uncommon. The veins in your legs have a difficult time circulating blood back up to your heart when you spend a lot of time in a confined space and are unable to move around much. This can cause pressure and swelling in your lower legs.
Compression socks and stockings are leg and foot garments that squeeze and stimulate circulation in the calves and feet. These socks and stockings are designed to fit tightly against your body and have a bit of stretch built into the fabric to keep their shape.
E-Reader
I never was someone who reads a lot of books and for me, they took way too much space and weight especially when you are traveling a lot. I bought my first E-Reader around 4-5 years ago. In the first place, I bought the e-reader when I changed from using a car and instead using public transportation. I had a 90 minutes way to work (one way). And at that time I started to enjoy reading books on my e-reader. I started reading for 2 hours a day, 3 times a week and I started to like it. And of course, I took it with me for my upcoming flights. It is just amazing how time flies by when you are reading on the flight. I can only recommend buying an E-reader. It is lightweight, it has a small form factor and it is easy to carry and on top of that, you can load a lot of books onto it. Meanwhile, it is even possible to connect it with your local library membership and you can rent books for no additional cost than the library membership cost. It is legit a Game-changer for me.
There are a lot of different E-readers out there from different companies. Personally, I use the Tolino E-Reader from Thalia, and I’m very happy with it, without any problems so far. But also the Amazon Kindle is a popular E-Reader
Power banks
Power banks are not an innovation anymore and almost everyone knows the advantages of a powerbank. On my Travels, I always carry on a powerbank with me. With all the possibilities to charge your devices on the go in cafes, in trains, and even on flights, a powerbank is not as necessary anymore as it was in the past. But for me, it is still a must-have gadget for your flights. Still not every Airline allows you to charge your Device on your flights, especially the lower-fare carriers. For me as a content creator using my phone for planning, editing, and even shooting content sometimes it is necessary to have a powerful powerbank with me that could save my life when it’s needed. And also because these days almost everything is digital and flight tickets or hotel reservations are saved on your phone it is important you have always a little bit of energy left on your device. There are a lot of good Power Banks out there. I can recommend the Anker Powercore Powerbank. It is powerful and lightweight. With these 5 gadgets you’ll feel hopefully like your next flight is a wellness treatment.
